Warning, Will Robinson, Warning, Override Attempt Coming
It has been reported in the last two days (12/18/2002) that Massachusetts state revenues are still declining. 

Framingham does it's budgeting based on the highest expected revenue from the state.  When it fails to materialize, they will blame the state.

The table below shows how fast the town government has grown in the past 6 years.  This growth is based on state aid to municipalities.  It was stupidity to base the town government on state aid.  Using the crystal clear vision of a one-eyed man, the town government has built its house on shifting sand dunes.

Finally, please read this page to understand why this town should not be given an operational override for years to come.  If you vote for an override, they will simply bloat the government more than it already is, which in turn will require further overrides to support their bloated staffs.  Ask yourself what you get out of their diminishing services.
