Why are we hiring after school people? This is sheer metastasis of government. What is to stop the hiring of hundreds of these people to teach our special morons.
FRAMINGHAM - Framingham Public Schools is advertising for an elementary mentor for its out of school time program for the 2018-19 school year. The part-time positions pay between $16 and $20 and hour, and is only a 10-months of the year position. "The OST Mentor position is designed to work alongside the Explorers' Coordinators by providing support to enhance the overall quality of programming and facilitation in order to deliver Framingham Public Schools' high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction, the achievement of academic proficiency for all students, and the closing of the achievement gap among subgroups within the schools," according to the job posting. Applicants should have a "passion and interest in working with children in an academic, recreational, or athletic setting; should have outstanding leadership, organizational and team building skills; one year experience actively participating with a project-based curriculum." Individuals with Bachlor's Degree preferred. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred.
