Take the no override pledge Saturday, March 1, 2003

I would like to address Ms. (Katie) Murphy about her quote in the MetroWest Daily News today, that she would not take a "No" override pledge like the other candidates did.
I want to tell you, Ms. Murphy, as an over 40-year property taxpayer in the Town of Framingham, we property taxpayers do not need people like you running for the office of Selectman or any other office in the Town of Framingham if you can't say "No" to a simple question!
In case you don't know, Ms. Murphy, the well is dry for the working men/women and the retirees in Framingham; bone dry.
Ms. Murphy, I am writing this to you and the other candidates that as long as I have a breath in my body, I will work day and night to make sure there is NEVER another Proposition 2 1/2 override passed in the Town of Framingham.
We have to learn to live within our means. It's that simple.
