I was perusing the Framingham Tab one day and noticed the Worship page and read the names of the houses of worship in Framingham and began to laugh hysterically taking note the names indicated such a pletora of stupid moronic beliefs in a big, one to three headed sky creature named Allah, Yahweh, Elohim, Jehovah, God, the Holy Father, etc.....
I had just had to make up a list so that others can enjoy the humor. Those people that frequent these places have rejected all but one God. An atheist is a person who has rejected one more god.
No one explains religion better than George Carlin.

Miscellaneous Ramblings

Have you noticed that the pastors normally have the title of Rabbi or the words The Reverend before their names. Getting a degree in religion or divinity or theology is like getting a Phd in Telly Tubby Anatomy or Warp Core Engineering. Both of these fields can get quite complex, but both are based on bullshit, just like theology or religion, but admittedly one can find plenty of humor in religion.
Thomas Paine stated,
The study of theology, as it stands in the Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on no principles; it proceeds by no authority; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing; and it admits of no conclusion.
These clowns preach morality from the bible.
The costumes worn by religious leaders tend to get more esoteric as you move up the ranks. As they say in the soap business, When you're selling soap, packaging is all important.
The Catholic God is a three headed hydra (father, son and Holy Ghost) and Jesus had two fathers. Joseph missed the mark but the Holy Ghost got in.
How come they all want to be the First Church of This or That and no one claims to be the Second Church of This or That. Why do suppose that is? They can't all be first, can they?
