FRAMINGHAM - A DPW sander and a black SUV collided at the corner of Bishop and Arthur streets just after 10 p.m. with the collision causing the truck to crash into a house, according to DPW directer Peter Sellers.
Sellers said the SUV, a Cadillac SRX, went through a red light, causing the collision and sending the truck into the house at 205 Bishop St., across the street from Butterworth Park. The driver of the truck and the driver and passenger in the SUV were taken to area hospitals. Police spokesman Lt. Stephen Cronin said Sunday morning that there weren't any life threatening injuries. The crash is still under investigation. The town called the Red Cross as at least one family has been displaced from the house. It's unknown if anyone was home at the time of the crash. The house has suffered severe structural damage and a building inspector was called to the scene. DPW workers were at the property Sunday morning to turn off the water connection in the home. According to Assessor's records, the single-family home is owned by Robert Anderson Brown and Anne Marie Fowler. The property is 0.15 acres and valued at just under $200,000. It was last sold in April 2010 for $282,500.
